PURPOSE&SERVICE
Purpose&Services: Services

My artistic research is not only focused on dance. I often refer to myself as a performer as well as a dancer. I like to experiment and create new forms of communication. I believe in a concept of dance/performance that gives space to the human body in all its forms, a concept of dance free from aesthetic canons and that follows the natural bodily impulses. The human body is a fascinating life system, we create movement in everything we do.
I see dance as not only a profession but also a lifelong passion that can be harnessed to make a meaningful difference. From an early age, I began viewing arts as a way to help others express their emotions, challenges, and diversity and to bring change to our community, develop as a leading habitat for equality, humanity, and education. The experiences and artistic encounters made over the years, the artists to whom I was inspired as Isadora Duncan, Pina Bausch, Ohad Naharin and Virgilio Sieni, led me to a reflection: Dance is for everyone because we are all born able to move. We create movement in every moment of our day and the world is our stage. I believe that Is never to late to start dancing and it not required to have specific body qualities to do it. For this reason my artistic research involves all those who want to deepen and know their language of movement by putting themselves in relationship with others and the environment.

My personal language of movement uses improvisation as a method to develop and stimulate creativity. One of my main interests is the human body, its natural movement and its innumerable facets.
With the aim to highlight the potential of each body I have developed two different model of clesses: "FLOATING BODIES" AND "A CONSCIOUS BODY".
